Stage 2 - Bonito
Very different from Rio; at the gateway to the Pantanal, the Pousada Olho d’Agua lodge has been created within its own sixteen acre estate, surrounded by woods, and away from the urban and town centres. It has its own orchard and kitchen garden, and is home to many species of indigenous fauna. There is no traffic noise, nor pollution of any kind
Each of the rooms is located under native woodland trees, and supplied with mineral water from a natural spring. Outside, under the veranda, are fittings for hammocks
For spare time activities, the pool is illuminated for night swimming; there is a football and a volleyball pitch; and expansive natural surroundings to explore
