Animals While it is possible to see, and photograph, many of the animals shown here; because of their natural aversion to people, it is advisable to bring a camera with a good zoom facility (a 12x was used for some of these shots), and to get very familiar with it before you travel; to avoid shots of the animal’s rear end disappearing into the forest… There will be a night safari during the Pantanal stage of the tour; and for this, a more powerful flashgun, than the one built in to your camera, will be needed for decent pictures Alternatively, you may prefer to avoid the stress of taking technically accurate once-in-a-lifetime photos; and simply enjoy the experience, and the memory, of seeing wild animals in their natural environment… Click on any picture to enlarge it
